Author Biographies

Judith Schoßböck, Danube University Krems & City University of Hong Kong

Judith Schoßböck is a researcher at the Centre for E-Governance at Danube University Krems, Austria and a PhD candidate at the Department for Media and Communication at City University Hong Kong (HKPFS award recipient). She is managing editor of the open access e-journal JeDEM (jedem.org). At Danube University, she was inter alia involved in research projects covering electronic participation, open access, open data and social media and governance.

Noella Edelmann, Department for E-Governance and Administration, Danube University Krems

Noella Edelmann completed her Psychology Degree at the University of Strathclyde, UK and Masters' Degrees in Organisational Psychology at the University of London, UK and in E-Government at the Danube University Krems, Austria. She received her PhD in Public Administrations from Tallinn University of Technology, Estonia. She is a currently a researcher at the Department for Governance and Public Administration at the Danube University. Her main research interests are the digital transformation of governments, the use of social media in public administration, the impact of digital transformation on organizations and individuals as well as Open Access and scholarly communication. Noella is the Managing Editor of the international Open Access eJournal for E-Democracy and Open Government (JeDEM), is currently Chair of the E-participation and E-democracy Track at the EGOV-CeDEM-ePart Conference and Associate Editor of the Track Digital Government auf der Wirtschaftsinformatik 2020 Conference. She was Co-Chair of the Conference for E-Democracy 2011-2017.
